Hey! I’m Lizzie, a product designer in the making, currently working on my Master’s in Integrated Business, Design, and Technology at USC.

My path to design wasn’t exactly straightforward. After undergrad, I bounced around different career paths - tech, HR, admin roles - trying to find something that truly clicked. But nothing felt like the right fit. That uncertainty pushed me back to school, hoping to find something that aligned with what I actually loved.

Looking back, I realized I’ve always been drawn to creative tools. At 13, I saved up to buy Final Cut Pro and spent hours making music videos and tutorials with my friends. I loved experimenting, learning new software, and bringing ideas to life. That same curiosity led me to explore design more seriously.

In 2022, after a ton of research, I landed at USC’s Iovine & Young Academy. The program has been the perfect mix of creativity, business, and tech, allowing me to hone my design skills while thinking strategically about real-world solutions. Working with people from all kinds of backgrounds has given me a broader perspective on how design can drive meaningful impact.

Now, as I get closer to graduating in spring 2025, I’m excited to bring everything I’ve learned into the real world—creating thoughtful, user-centered experiences that make a difference.
